I invite you behind the desk and into my home - the place where I-RUI began.
I live in the old part of Copenhagen, in a building from the 1700s, close to the canals at Gammel Strand. The floors and walls are slightly crooked, the streets are narrow, and despite being very central, the neighbourhood feels like a quiet pocket of the city - close to the water and rich in history.
It was here that the first ideas for I-RUI took shape, and it’s still here that the brand continues to evolve. This is where thoughts begin, where designs come to life, and where I continue to shape what I-RUI is becoming.
As the year comes to an end - and with it, the first season of I-RUI - I wanted to open my home to you and share the pieces from the very first collection that I still return to day after day. The Josefine Trousers, the Julie Coat, the Charli Signature Shirt and the Ella Skirt are all styles that have stayed close.
Among them is the Mia Jacket, a piece I’ve worn since the beginning and continue to come back to for its versatility - easy to dress up or down, whether for an event or a day at work.
A quiet moment from my home to yours - and warm wishes for the final days of the season, as we look ahead to what’s to come in 2026. Thank you for being part of this journey with me and I-RUI.
