I-RUI started in founder Josefine’s apartment, in a building from the 1700s in the heart of Copenhagen. With narrow streets surrounding the neighbourhood, slightly crooked floors, and the canals at Gammel Strand just a stone’s throw away - it’s a quiet pocket of the city with room to think.

It’s where all ideas, thoughts, and designs emerge from. A space where I-RUI continues to evolve - with clarity, intention, and a distinct creative edge that channels a minimal way of thinking.
