NEIGHBOURHOOD STORIES W. JOSEFINE MEYER
Josefine Meyer takes us through her neighbourhood, Østerbro. A quieter side of Copenhagen with beautiful historic buildings, green spaces and the harbour nearby.
Josefine shares her connection to the area. From slow mornings in nearby parks to the creative influence of the home she lives in. Dressed in her most-worn I-RUI pieces, she makes the styles her own.
She finds inspiration in everyday routines. In colours, small details, and things others might not notice. Her way of dressing follows the same instinct.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLACES
ØSTRE ANLÆG
Østre Anlæg is one of the places I go to the most. It’s a bit quieter than other parks, which I really like. I often come here in the morning with a coffee, or go for a run when I want to clear my head. It’s easy and accessible, and it’s become a natural part of my routine.
SMK
Living close to SMK has influenced me more than I expected. I like how the museum connects to Østre Anlæg. Even though the newer building is more minimalistic it still feels in line with the historic part. The transition between the two is very well done, and it makes the whole area both modern and historic.
LOCAL COFFEE SPOTS
I like having places that feel familiar. On weekends, I go for breakfast in Nordhavn at Atelier September, followed by coffee from La Cabra. It’s something I really enjoy on the weekends.
HOME
Our home is my favorite place. There’s nothing better than that feeling when we’re both finally home, shoes are off, and we can do nothing and everything. I love how it’s mostly not about being productive or doing anything special, it’s simply the feeling of being home and together.
My favorite moments are when we have an empty calendar, to just hang around, cook dinner, talk, and be in the same room without any pressure to do anything.
It’s the perfect reset and my way of charging up for life and everything in between.
