NEIGHBOURHOOD STORIES W. CELINE BRAMSEN

Celine takes us through her neighbourhood, Frederiksberg - a calm yet vibrant pocket of Copenhagen shaped by her favourite cafés, tree-lined streets, and everyday rituals. As we explore, she shares her connection to the area while styling her most-loved I-RUI pieces.

The walk becomes both a portrait of Frederiksberg and a reflection of how I-RUI lives in the city: versatile, understated, and timeless.

NEIGHBOURHOOD PLACES

Frederiksberg Allé

You can’t really talk about Frederiksberg without mentioning its beautiful avenue. The tall trees and elegant facades make it feel timeless, like the city slows down a bit here. I love walking along the Allé, especially when the light hits the leaves just right. Some days it’s calm and quiet, other days full of people and life. It’s the kind of place where I can switch off, breathe, and just enjoy how beautiful everything looks.

Hvornum, Interior boutique

Hvornum is one of my go-to spots on Gammel Kongevej. It’s this little interior gem that feels more like a gallery than a store. The mix of design pieces and vintage finds is so inspiring, and I always end up spending way too long just looking around. I love all the textures, from solid oak and cool stone to soft fabrics and warm lighting. I never leave without feeling inspired to change something at home.

Frederiksberg Have

Frederiksberg Have is my little escape inside the city. It’s where I go for a slow morning walk or to clear my head in the afternoon. Sometimes I come here alone with a coffee, other times with friends or family when we just want some quiet time together. It’s always peaceful, always beautiful, and it somehow feels different every time I visit.

Auren´s Deli

Auren´s Deli has become one of my regular lunch spots. It’s warm and cozy, with the smell of fresh bread and candles burning even on weekdays. Their Deli Sandwich changes every day depending on what they have, and it’s always good. I often bring my laptop and sit here for a few hours when I need a little change of scene. It’s the kind of place that makes everyday life feel a bit softer.

Bird

When evening comes, Bird is the perfect spot to end the day. It’s small and intimate, with jazz records playing and the kind of lighting that makes you want to stay for one more cocktail. I love sitting in a corner with friends, just talking and watching the night go by. It’s one of those places that reminds me why I love this neighbourhood, calm, charming and full of character.
